Although she used ‘French’ as part of her performer name for the last 15 years, Kelly knew it was time to make a change. More than just a business decision, it was one with personal significance and not one she wanted to rush through. “At the time of writing this, I underwent FFS, turned some big corners in my personal life, and feel invigorated with my career,” she added. “‘Kelly’ is my mom’s maiden name, a name that I can be proud to carry forward. The lady is a saint and one of my best friends, so I’m excited for this marking point in my career and for the things to come.”

Being trans is a part of me, and outside factors and outside circumstances have no bearing on what it means to be trans. It is something that I own and that I express, something I feel completely in charge of, and no outside forces or circumstances or authority has any effect on that.”
