Domino Presley’s Pop Group, The Gurls, Wows the Crowd at Atlanta Pride

ATLANTA, GA - Superstar Domino Presley and her pop group, The Gurls, performed their hit single “Glamour” in front of thousands of people at Atlanta Pride this past week.

The Gurls performed their latest single, “Glamour,” at Atlanta’s famed Starlight Cabaret as part of Atlanta Pride 2022. The venue erupted into cheers when The Gurls surprised the crowd by welcoming Rupaul’s Drag Race alum Gia Gunn to the stage.

The Gurls’ recent Atlanta Pride performance represented a homecoming show for Alissah and Presley, who spent their early careers in the Atlanta drag scene and performing at Starlight Cabaret for years. The Sky’s the Limit for Domino Presley with New Musical Endeavor, The Gurls

LAS VEGAS, NV - Award-winning performer Domino Presley has transcended her success in the adult industry and set her sights on musical stardom with The Gurls, a musical group created by her and trans recording artist Alissah. Presley, who also goes by the stage name Domino Balenciaga, first teased the audience at the 2022 Trans Erotica Awards and appeared in trans recording artist Alissah’s opening number. The audience erupted with cheers during her rap verse of the YouTube exclusive remix of Alissah’s hit song, “Daddy.” 

Since the performance back in March, Presley has continued to pour her talents into cultivating her music career. Alissah and Presley then combined musical forces to create the pop group, The Gurls, with an alternating third spot reserved for other LGBTQ performers to join the duo.  After a busy summer for The Gurls, Presley and Alissah returned to the recording studio and invited Rupaul’s Drag Race alum Gia Gunn to appear on their upcoming track, “Glamour.”

“I’m so excited to announce we have our first single dropping in the beginning of October, just in time for Halloween and Atlanta Pride,” explained Presley. “It’s definitely a dance song and with a title like Glamour we thought it only appropriate to feature my good sis Miss Gia Gunn after her viral post asking, ‘where is the glamour?’ The song is produced by B.Ames and has tons of attitude with some Ballroom/Vogue vibes. I obviously had to give a shout-out to the house I’m in, House of Balenciaga. You should most definitely expect a music video as well” 

“It’s been a while since I’ve felt inspired to do music but this collaboration is so special because we are embracing sisterhood, being visible, and most importantly, demonstrating trans power!” added Gunn. “I can’t wait to see you all have fun with this new bop!”

Domino Presley Makes Special Musical Appearance at Rupaul’s Drag Con

LOS ANGELES, CA - TEA Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Domino Presley, and trans recording artist, Alissah, reunited for a special mainstage musical performance for Rupaul’s Drag Con held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. 

“Alissah and I had a blast,” said Presley. “There were a couple of technical difficulties but I expected that and ended up laughing at myself on stage. Thank you to Micky’s WEHO for including us and Dolores V. for getting us the gig. During the Trans Erotica Awards, I had said I was shifting my focus towards music, and I meant it.”

This past year, the duo performed Alissah’s hit, “Daddy,” together at the Trans Erotica Awards.

 Presley teased, “Right after we got off the stage, we drove to the recording studio where Alissah, Kylie Sonique Love, and I had the complete honor and privilege to record a feature on Kat Graham’s upcoming summer album, Long Hot Summer.”

Domino Presley Honored with TEA Lifetime Achievement Award

LAS VEGAS, NV - Adult performer Domino Presley celebrated a career milestone recently as the 2022 recipient of the prestigious TEA Lifetime Achievement Award. Presley also served as the star-studded event’s Mistress of Ceremonies. 

“Oh my gosh, I was so honored to receive one of the Lifetime Achievement Awards this year,” says Presley. “I've been relevant for over a decade which is something to be proud of. It's also very nice to have gotten some acknowledgment and credit for the work I've done behind these scenes and not just for showing my hole and collecting followers.” 

Each year the Trans Erotica Awards honors two Lifetime Achievement Award recipients, one for their work in front of the camera (performer) and one for their work behind the camera (producer). Presley was presented the award on stage by a notable group of her including Grooby producer Buddy Wood, past TEA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Natassia Dreams, Grooby’s Kristel Penn, and Rupaul’s Drag Race alums Mariah Balenciaga and Nicole Paige Brooks.

“Hosting the awards, I would say 98% of the show ran smoothly,” added Presley. “Performing with Alissah during the opening performance was the most nerve-wracking part. The second they secretly plopped me on stage in those oversized sweats with a costume change underneath I thought to myself, ‘well you can't really back out now.’  Alissah and I have been rehearsing for three months and she created the visual backdrops herself. I honestly feel like this was the best show to date. There was good music, beautiful trans men, women, and non-binary people everywhere, some pretty incredible speeches made, and multiple outfit changes between Natassia Dreams, Aubrey Kate, and myself. I really love how serious the Trans Erotica Awards are taken now and how big of an event it's become. Yes, there was some drama sprinkled in but overall, the show was absolutely amazing and I'm so thankful to Steven and Kristel for allowing me to serve as the TEA Mistress of Ceremonies for my fourth year in a row.” 

The 2022 TEAs presented by ManyVids took place on March 13, 2022, at the historic Avalon in Hollywood, CA. Presley contributed lyrics and vocals to Atlanta-based trans recording artist Alissah’s remix of her hit track, “Daddy.” Alissah shared her song was inspired by an iconic scene from one of her favorite childhood movies, “Kindergarten Cop.”

Presley continued, “This song was written while I was in a horrible relationship, and the lyrics I wrote basically spoke my marriage into existence (if you listen to the song you might roll your eyes at that statement, but it's true). ‘Daddy’ is an anthem for girls who are tired of fuck boys and being the breadwinners in their relationships. 

“I honestly almost had Alissah take my part out or re-record it with her voice because as a Transgender Woman, one of my biggest insecurities is my voice, and there were a few people who cracked jokes about the song when we released it (it was just other trans girls, which sucks worse). But to see a nomination for this project that's outside of the adult industry...and that I literally wrote myself (just my part), pushed through, and did regardless of the haters and my insecurities, damn. I couldn't be more proud of a nomination. Music was my passion before I transitioned and I never thought I would get back into it so thank you for the nomination, AVN, but most importantly, thank You, Alissah, for believing in me, pushing me, and allowing me to be part of your art.”
